Door County has had a record-setting summer season in 2021! Fall has proven exceptional as well, with mild temperatures and plentiful sunshine encouraging everyone to get outside and see the breathtaking fall colors. With the holiday season right around the corner, we see plenty of signs that we’ll have more visitors than ever spending their time enjoying the Door County off-season this year!
We’re thrilled with the boom of tourism on our Peninsula. As Door County has grown, we’ve seen more one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries and cafes appear, adding to a community of business owners that are committed to this land and its potential. We want to see Door County bring more joy to more people, while maintaining its ecology and protecting what makes it so special. This is our happy place.
With that said, we’re dedicating this issue of Up at the Lodge to helping you plan your off-season trip to Door County. There is much excitement to experience in the coming months, and we hope to encourage your to partake in the wonders of Door County during the holiday season and into the winter. Read on!
