After a record-setting summer in Door County this year, we’re heading into what is shaping up to be one of the biggest holiday seasons we’ve ever seen. Sister Bay’s Christkindlmarkt is back, bigger and better, for a second season. New events as well as Door County holiday traditions are kicking off all over the county. Here at Open Hearth Lodge, we’re in the Christmas spirit already. Christkindlmarkt Again!
With a visitor count estimated at about 10,000 in its inaugural year, there was little doubt that the Sister Bay Historical Society’s Christkindlmarkt would be back in 2022. Nearly twice as many vendors will present unique holiday gifts, food, drink and more at the Corners of the Past Museum this year over three holiday weekends.
